To promote the use of digital photography as a creative tool, we are once again calling for participation in our Photography Competition, as a way to express different visions of the Granada Festival Cines del Sur, of daily life in the neighbourhoods of Granada and of the concept of migrations.

The competition will award one prize in each of its categories:

First Prize: Moments of the Granada Festival Cines del Sur 2009

Second Prize: The flight of the crane: artistic photography on the subject of migrations. The prize will award the creativity of one of the works featuring the origami crane

Third Prize. Ordinary stories about life in the neighbourhoods of Granada

A maximum of 3 photos can be submitted to each category.

All participants will receive two tickets to the Festival screenings.

Submissions to the second and third categories will be accepted between Thursday May 21st and Saturday June 20th. Submissions to the first category will be accepted between the inauguration on Saturday June 13th and Tuesday June 23rd.
