With this complete retrospective, Cines del Sur presents the possibility of viewing works that have rarely been seen before, in addition to rediscovering famous films. The presentation of this retrospective will include the presence of the Spanish actress, director and producer Margarita Alexandre, an exceptional witness to the film activity in Cuba during the 1960s. As a sample of her work as a producer for the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), Crónica Cubana, by the Uruguyan Ugo Ulive, an interrogation of the social changes brought about by the revolution on a group of characters, will be shown.
